A stunning Coastal Foreshore Esplanade is being developed by Peet Limited to provide a place to relax, to play or socialise among the tranquil surroundings of Shorehaven at Alkimos.
Stroll to the lookout at the esplanade’s natural highpoint, signalled by a landmark sculpture that will be a destination in itself. Take in the stunning ocean views or connect to the Viggo Trail and learn more about the area and its unique features.
Relax and enjoy a day out with family and friends at one of the Coastal Foreshore Esplanade’s barbeque areas. With shade and wind protection being installed, the picnic areas will provide a great place to unwind.
Children can have a kick about and unleash their energies on the playground equipment, which is designed with safety and fun in mind.
The esplanade will connect with the beach via a boardwalk, just 250 metres away, which will provide a place to reflect and relax as the sun sets over the stunning blue ocean at Shorehaven.
To ensure the esplanade supports the natural environment, Peet Limited will be installing native plants and artworks that reflect the surrounds. Like all of the parks and open spaces planned for Alkimos, the esplanade will be water wise and carefully designed to complement the local flora and fauna, with native plants and open space set aside throughout the estate for wildlife and wildflowers to flourish.
For residents the Coastal Foreshore Esplanade will be a walk or short drive away. Parking will be available and pedestrian and cycle paths that wind through the estate will also lead residents to the beautiful parkland.
Coastal Foreshore Esplanade will be the first of many community spaces and recreational areas at Shorehaven at Alkimos.
